CAL-HIGH 0-0-0-6Ca

Product Type: Liquid

This liquid calcium formula can be used in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor crops as a highly absorbable, fast-acting calcium. This acid-treated calcium formula is designed to meet the immediate calcium needs of deficient crops. Calcium is a key structural component of plants that increases stress tolerance to biotic and abiotic factors. It also helps in increasing shelf life, impart uniform appearance, and flavor quality. Calcium plays several important roles in a plant’s growth and development including transport of other nutrients in the plant. Calcium also contributes to strong cell walls in the plant, which leads to stronger disease and pest resistance. Additionally, calcium is vital for root and leaf
development. Strong roots and larger leaves absorb more water and nutrients from the soil and extract more energy from sunlight.

Suggested Application Rates & Method

If your soil pH is too low or too high, the plant will have difficulty absorbing certain nutrients. For instance, as soil pH goes below 6.0, the availability of calcium starts to decline rapidly. The same thing happens when soil pH goes above 8.5. Hence it is recommended to consult an agronomist for best advice based on local farm conditions.
Typical use of CAL-HIGH is as described below:

  • Various Berry Crops:
    Foliar application – 1.5 – 3 L/acre. Apply 2-3 times during, season using a fogging nozzle.

Continuous feed program – Apply higher dilution rate of 1:2000 (0.5 ml/L)
    For occasional use – Apply a lower dilution rate 1:500 – 1:1000 (1 – 2 ml/L)
