INFO SHEET

Product Type: Growing Medium

Coconut coir sticks are natural, environment friendly, 100% biodegradable, and affordable alternatives to other growth mediums. The coconut husk fibre, chip, and pith/peat together act as a powerful growing medium. They loosen the soil by breaking the hard pan and promote extensive rooting. This also increases soil aeration and microbial activity. It retains moisture well enough to cut watering frequency by 7-10 times and reduces the risk of plant mortality.

Suggested Application Rates & Method

  • These sticks have high moisture retention capacity to benefit the roots of the plant.
  • Use one stick at the time of transplanting. As you back fill after placing the root stalk, throw in 2-3 chunks from the sticks into the hole/container. Ensure proper root depth and cover well. Spread the chunks from the stick evenly around the root.
