SEED START A is a viscous liquid used as a sticking agent for seed treatments. It gently coats the seeds with mineral nutrients and assists in sticking other materials applied to the seed surface. Seed Start A breaks down into useful nutrients and supplements, once exposed to the soil.

Suggested Application Rates & Methods

Use the following rates depending on seed type:

  • Cereals, oil seeds, peas, and other legumes: 2.5-3.5 oz/bushel (3-4 mL/kg)
  • Vegetables: 3-4 mL/kg

Mix SEED START A with needed quantity of water to improve flowability immediately before use and blend gently. Spread the mixture evenly on the seeds using a fine mist.

Special Notes

  • Use in accordance with the recommendations of a qualified individual or institution or according to an approved nutrient management plan.
  • Ensure the seed is dry and there is sufficient aeration for storage.
  • Rinse the tanks after use.
  • Check compatibility before use with other treatments.
  • If required, formula can be diluted with water.

Storage & Disposal

Store in original package, away from food in a cool dry place. Keep away from children and animals. Avoid direct sunlight. Recycle the package in accordance with local, provincial, & federal regulations.
